Abstract:
The objective of this project is to identify scientific associations and centers of excellence in three countries—France, England, and the United States—and examine their key domains and activities. This study was conducted to compile a comprehensive list of these institutions, detailing their numbers, specialized fields, and operational scopes. After analyzing the regulations and statutes of these entities, the core components of their charters—such as membership requirements, funding mechanisms, governance structures, and common activities—were reviewed.
Data was meticulously gathered through online databases, institutional websites, and academic sources. The institutions were categorized into two groups: "scientific associations" and "centers of excellence", and further classified by their country of origin. The collected data was presented in tabular form, illustrating the number of organizations in each country, their specialized fields, and their primary activities
The analysis revealed significant insights into the operational frameworks and management models of these organizations. Common features in their regulations included membership criteria, funding sources, and governance practices. General activities predominantly encompassed research, education, conferences, and publications.
This research project underscores the vital role of scientific associations and centers of excellence in advancing scientific and academic progress. The findings suggest that strengthening collaboration among such institutions can further enhance innovation and knowledge dissemination.
