Research Objectives:
The aim of the present research is to examine audio description strategies used in the Sevina Group (Cinema for the Blind) and subsequently develop a guideline for audio description of visual materials for visually impaired and blind individuals in Iran, with the ultimate goal of standardizing these practices.
Research Questions:
This research project aimed to answer the following research questions:
- What strategies have been employed for narratological elements in films audio described by the Sevina Group?
- What strategies have been used for linguistic elements in films audio described by the Sevina Group?
- What strategies have been applied to cinematic elements in films audio described by the Sevina Group?
